Hill Performance Training: Lacrosse Program

About The Program

Hill Performance Lacrosse Training is designed for all lacrosse players looking to expand their overall game to reach the next level and get better. All programs are designed to enhance functionally sound movement patterns based on the movements experienced in a lacrosse game. We apply proven strength training and conditioning principles with a strong focus on basic and proper technique. The workout becomes increasingly more challenging once basic fundamentals have been mastered. In order to do this, in the most effective and efficient way, groups are limited to no more than 10 per session. This allows for maximum individual attention.

This program will build strength, power, speed, quickness, endurance, and lacrosse specific skills that will translate to the playing field.

Hill Academy Kick PhysiotherapyWorkouts will be combining 1 hour in the gym and 1 hour of lacrosse specific instruction for 2 hours minimum of training. The lacrosse sessions will be run by Coach Merrick Thomson but will also include guest coaches such as Brodie Merrill, Jason Noble, and Jordan Macintosh. Lacrosse specific instruction includes but is not limited to; shooting, passing, defending, footwork, 1v1’s, and 2v2’s.

 PRO TRAINING

Designed for professional players looking to expand their game and reach their maximum potential by making gains off – season and maintaining those gains in season. Workouts will be specifically designed to meet your needs and improve on weaknesses.

 NCAA TRAINING

These workouts are designed to mimic an NCAA program. You will spend 4 days per week in the gym and have 3 on field sessions. These will be high intensity sessions to keep you in shape for NCAA lacrosse.

 JUNIOR TRAINING

This program is designed for players who are playing junior lacrosse or have other commitments and will be two times per week. This program will focus on making gains in both the gym, and on the field.

 ELITE TRAINING

This program will be 4 days per week over the summer and will focus on making small gains every day.  Focus will be on building a strong foundation and getting bigger, stronger, faster and better.

PROGRAMS:

ELITE LEVEL OFF-SEASON

Hill Performance Elite Level Off-Season Training is designed for elite athletes over 15 years of age. This program focuses on building strength, power, speed, quickness and endurance specific to each sport and athlete, while creating greater mobility and flexibility to decrease injury potential.


JUNIOR LEVEL OFF-SEASON

This program is designed for players under 15 years of age. This program uses the same methodology and intensity used with elite athlete. The junior program prepares athletes to get the most out of their bodies by increasing strength, endurance and flexibility, leading to increased productivity and decreased injury.


ELITE LACROSSE

Elite Lacrosse Training is designed for all lacrosse players looking to expand on their game to reach the next level. This program will build strength, power, speed, quickness, endurance and sport specific skills that will translate to the playing field.
